Birmingham City Football Club

The first point of contact we received regarding Birmingham City FC wanting a unit was from Josh at Ardent. He mentioned that Chris from BCFC had reached out regarding the club’s demand for a unit. Having worked with Ardent before on another project, it was easy to understand the requirements needed and expected by the club around aesthetics and performance.

BCFC use top level training facilities and have recently moved to somewhere newly renovated. Their main issue/requirement was to try and ensure that any mud, gravel, 4G etc. wasn’t then walked and left in the car park and other communal areas around either the club house or facility.

Our engineer Duncan carried out the install, being a “Blues” fan, it was only fitting for him to go. Upon arrival, Duncan was greeted and shown to the location where the unit was ideally going to be placed.

The club then had their custom colour unit installed and positioned at the requested location, as that worked best for the coaching staff and players to clean their shoes/boots off before going into the changing rooms and other areas of the club. Conveniently, it was also situated in front of the club’s large pillar, embodying the BCFC motto that reads “If you don’t play to win, don’t play at all” followed by the clubs iconic phrase “Keep Right on”.

Since the unit has been installed, Chris from BCFC has reached out to us and said the following: “It’s a work of art, the lads along with me love it.” There has also been talk of potential for further units to be installed at BCFC, which just shows the level of performance the unit offers.
