We had an enquiry come through via our website from a senior member at the club called Roger. He was on of the main influencers at the club in terms of the decision being made after looking online and finding us as the industry standard.
Client’s Situation
Macclesfield Golf Club had had their existing unit for quite some time, and members had started to notice that it wasn’t quite up to the task of cleaning off their shoes and trolleys after a full round of Golf anymore. After personally speaking to Roger on a handful of occasions via both email, phone, and post, (Joshua Edkins – BDM at AIR-EZE) we concluded that we would decommission their old system, and install a new system… An AIR-EZE Fairway system.
Our Solution
When arriving at the club to decommission the old unit, and install the new unit, we were luckily greeted by Roger and the Greens staff who were on hand to help if needed. After decommissioning the old unit, disassembling it, and loading it onto the club’s tractor to be disposed of, it was onto the installation of the new unit.
The installation of the new unit took just shy of an hour, with our AIR-EZE certified engineer Duncan on hand, who was able to install & Commission everything, as well as create a short maintenance and usage video for the club as requested in no time at all.
Client’s Benefits
As soon as the unit was installed and commissioned, a handful of members used the Fairway system, including the ex-Club Director and Chairman Bob McGrouther who instantly pointed out the difference in pressure and newfound ease in cleaning his shoes and trolley. Bob said that the funds had been raised from members by past captains, Wendy Higgins and Peter Lloyd, along with a contribution from past president, Mike Baker’s “200 Club”.
As well as this, the members also mentioned the professional look of the unit, sporting the Macclesfield Golf Club Logo on both the top and face of the unit.
