We received a call from Caroline Cartlidge at Lutterworth Golf Club, she mentioned to us that the club had an interest in exploring the options that best suited the club, and explained how the club was having to completely rebuild due to their club house tragically burning down, but wanted to look at the options they had to ensure the club’s revival was to the absolute highest standard possible.
Client’s Situation
After hearing about the issues that the club had faced and been through, we knew that the units and set-up that we installed had to be fitting of the club rising through the terrible ordeal that they had endured to prove the upmost resilience.
Our Solution
Nigel our engineer and I arrived at Lutterworth Golf Club to start the installation of the club’s units. Unpackaging the units and moving them into the position as per the club’s instructions was the first step, once we had them placed Nigel then go to work on installing them. Speaking to Peter who oversaw the building and facilities works mentioned how the units fit in nicely with the club’s new image moving forward and gave us some information into the club’s history. Once the units had been installed and commissioned by Nigel, some of the members were then eager to try the new unit out.
After the members had tried out the unit, me and Nigel then ran through the basic maintenance required by the green staff to ensure that they were aware of the small checks involved. Throughout the installation, our photographer Nicole was on hand to get some images and videography of the units, the installation as well as the beautiful surroundings of Lutterworth Golf Club.
Client’s Benefits
Having a dedicated area for cleaning shoes and trolleys on the way from the course to the clubhouse reminds more of our members to carry out a clean of their equipment before leaving. In addition, as there are now double the number of airlines, members are more inclined to use the facility as they do not have to wait for so long. This has an added benefit that, as soft spikes can be worn in the clubhouse, less dirt is brought inside, and the terrace remains free as possible from grass and mud.
The units themselves are smart, with the club logo. The area that grass and dirt is collected in can easily be swept clear, with the grid being emptied every few days, please see image (final one) of the units being put through their paces.
