Celtic FC Lennoxtown

Introduction

Nicola from Celtic FC got in touch about the club potentially being interested in acquiring our AIR-EZE Bootboy™ units for both the existing training ground at Lennoxtown, and for the new and still currently in development (as of 22nd May 2024) Barrowfield.

Client’s Situation

With Celtic FC arguably being the biggest team in the SPL, that also comes with having a large amount of staff and players, spanning across their first team through to the B team, Ladies First, and academy, and with such a large outlay of players, there are a lot of boots to clean for the staff, meaning that quite a lot of time on a regular basis was being taken up by the tedious task of cleaning off the boots.

Our Solution

Onto the install, after some discussions with Nicola at Celtic FC, it was decided that a single unit system would be used in at Lennoxtown for the coaches and staff, whilst two units would be installed up at Barrowfield. It was decided that the club would have a dual unit system installed at Barrowfield to cope with the number of players that could potentially be coming off the pitches at any given time. Once this had been agreed, we then began speaking to the club about the potential requirements they had in terms of the cable length, plug type etc. to ensure that the location that the club were looking at, the unit would have sufficient output to be placed there. Our engineer Robert carried out the installation, being a Celtic FC fan he was more than happy to attend the club. Upon arrival, Robert was greeted and shown to the where the unit was going to be placed.

After the unit had been installed and positioned at the discussed location for the coaches and staff to clean their shoes/boots off before going into their changing rooms and other areas of the club, Robert then provided all CofC’s, and other relevant paperwork to the club.

Client’s Benefits

Since the unit has been installed, there was mention by staff at the club to have another unit installed at Lennoxtown.
